Therapeutic Massage 30, 60,75, or 90 minute ($50/$75/$90/$110)
Therapeutic massage is sequenced with gliding strokes that release muscular tension, fascial adhesions, and relax and reintegrate you in body-mind-spirit. Techniques for affecting deeper layers of muscle, tendons and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints) may be employed to release and reset muscular tension in the body. 30 min ($50) Specific areas of tension in the body 60 min ($75) Full body sequence for general relaxation 75 min ($90) Full body plus specific manual therapy for chronic issues 90 min ($110) Full body plus specific manual therapy, plus heated bamboo and stone for enhancing manual massage techniques, if desired About Prairie Yogi Massage
Restoration and wellness: from prairies to people
Restoration is the thread that binds my love of prairie to my love of helping people find wellness within themselves, through my practice of yoga and massage therapy. My journey includes over twenty years in prairie restoration, twenty years practicing and teaching yoga, and six years and counting as a licensed massage therapist (LMT). Experiencing the excruciating pain of sciatica in 2005 awakened my desire to restore balance to my own body, leading me to yoga. But it was at the skilled hands of a massage therapist and physical therapist that I found relief, recovery, and restoration of wellness. And that, simply, is why I aspire to be the best massage therapist I can be. I want to help you on your way toward restoration and wellness in mind-body-spirit.
